Forty-some photos of jigs, glue-ups, and tile membrane don't make for a tidy story — that's the point. Every fixture gets built before the furniture does: drilling guides for the Italian hardware, hinge jigs welded in-house, a template cut for the curve before the curve gets cut. Concrete gets formed, timber gets flattened, drywall gets taped to a finish nobody but the trade behind it will ever notice. None of it shows up in the final shot.
    All of it is why the final shot holds up.
